Exam Instructions

1. Question Format:
   • The exam consists of 16 questions: 6 easy questions, 6 medium questions, and 4 difficult questions.


2. Marking Scheme:
   • 6 Easy Questions:
     • Correct Answer: 4 marks
     • Incorrect Answer: -1 mark (negative marking applies)
   • 6 Medium Questions:
     • Correct Answer: 6 marks
     • Incorrect Answer: -2 marks (negative marking applies)
   • 4 Difficult Questions:
     • Correct Answer: 10 marks
     • Incorrect Answer: -3 marks (negative marking applies)


3. Exam Duration:
   • The total time allocated for this exam is 60 minutes.


4. Begin the Exam:
   • In the browser, type stepo.org and click on the "Exam" tab. Then, select the subject (either CTO or FLETO).
   • The exam instructions page will open. Read all the instructions, enter your contact number in the contact number field, and input your hall ticket number.
   • After entering the hall ticket number, your name will appear below. Once everything is filled out, click on the "Begin Exam" button.
   • When you are ready to start the exam, click the "Begin Exam" button. The timer will start automatically once the exam begins.


5. Navigation:
   • To navigate through the questions, you will find "Next" and "Previous" buttons at the top of the exam interface. Use the "Next" button to move forward to the next question and the "Previous" button to go back to the previous question.


6. Exam Submission:
   • Be mindful of the time remaining for the exam. If the exam time runs out before you submit, the system will automatically submit the exam with the answers you have provided up to that point. Therefore, manage your time wisely to attempt all questions.
   • If you leave the exam tab more than 2 times, your exam will be automatically submitted.
